Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren recently experienced one of a parent’s worst nightmares.
The couple witnessed a terrifying scene as their 2-year-old son, Romeo, began choking on pasta.
The Jersey Shore star shared footage from the incident, which occurred last Thursday at his Holmdel home in Monmouth County.
Their terrifying incident and the couple handling it smoothly was captured via Ring camera footage from inside their home.
Sorrentino called it “the scariest moment of our lives” in a caption on his Instagram post.
“It was an ordinary dinner at the Situations when suddenly without notice Romeo started choking on his favorite pasta pesto gnocchi !! He hunched over and wasn’t breathing...

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola wasn’t thrilled she had to film again with her ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Family Vacation Season 7.
The Jersey Shore castmates dated throughout the show’s original run on MTV and for several years afterward, but they officially broke up in 2016.
After the breakup, Sammi stayed away from reality TV as she healed and matured from her and Ronnie’s tumultuous relationship.
Ronnie appeared as a cast member on multiple seasons of the spinoff Family Vacation but stepped away within the past few years to work on his sobriety and mental health.
Meanwhile, Sammi returned to join most of her castmates for Family Vacation Season 6, with episodes airing last year.
She avoided seeing Ronnie as he returned to visit with his castmates for several episodes and started to make amends for his past behavior. However, Sammie and Ronnie will cross paths in Season 7 as it was revealed...

Jennifer Aydin, a Real Housewives of New Jersey castmember, works the Glam Stage at BravoCon like a QVC pitchwoman. “Do you ever go to a plastic surgeon, and they put in filler and move it around?” she asks her rapt crowd, clutching a U-shaped pillow. “That’s because it moves. Sleep with one of these, and your filler, your lashes, those brows and your lovely lips will all stay intact.”
A few dozen hands shoot up, iPhones raised like auction paddles to snap the Qr code projected across the towering screens. Everybody in this Las Vegas convention hall is only one tap away from buying Aydin’s miracle cushion — just a cotton travel pillow, really — at a small discount from its usual $49.99. Reed’s Point reunites several of the people behind 2018’s D-Railed, including director Dale Fabrigar (They Crawl Beneath), and co-writer Suzanne DeLaurentiis (Area 401) who wrote the script along with Sandy Lo and Tricia Aurand (Middleton Christmas). I found it to be a fun mash-up of monsters, ghosts, and a heist gone wrong. So a film from them about The Jersey Devil seemed like it had a chance to be the first film about the creature to actually be good.
It starts with Kelsey (Madison Ekstrand) her boyfriend Alex (Evan Adams; The Wrong Valentine) and cousin Sarah (Sasha Anne) joining Kelsey’s father Greg on a business Rv trip. However, on the way to pick up the client, the driver swerves to avoid a deer and crashes.

There seems to have been a lot of interesting TV shows announced this week. First there was a Dracula series, then a Green Arrow series, now we've learned that the A&E network is developing a series that will play out as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's classic film Psycho.
The series will be called Bates Motel, and it will "delve into how Norman Bates’ dark, twisted backstory from childhood through his teen years and will chronicle how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping shape the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history."
Now this is a series I can get behind 100 percent! I love the idea of seeing Bates' backstory! There's a lot of potential for a drama series like this, and I already can't wait to see what it will bring us.
