I was very pleasantly surprised by viewing this film for the first time. It is a family-style tale told delicately through the images of cinematic faces set against the gorgeous backdrop of Victoria Falls in combination with a very striking music. The story seems to move at the right pace, but what really effected me, it seems, is a great work of cinematography, set design and music. The visuals alone made me go check some other work of Jiri Fojtik, who is the director of photography. I've come to find out that he also collaborated with Dusan Rapos on a picture Suzanne, which is a very different type of film, nonetheless extremely powerful and emotional. I recommend any work of these two European masters, for their work presents us with a very unique look at life during happiness or crisis.
