Stefanos Stergiou, a renowned ophthalmic surgeon and respected academic hailing from the lower middle class, reminisces about his early university years. Back then, the driven ophthalmology student was deeply enamoured with beautiful Lisa, the privileged daughter of a wealthy clinic owner. Despite what Lisa's parents believed, his love was unwavering and genuine. But Lisa, too, reciprocated Stefanos' feelings with equal intensity. However, social class inequality posed an insurmountable obstacle. After all, Lisa's haughty father would never agree to give his girl to the lad from the wrong side of the tracks. And now, after all these years, the question remains. Is there still hope for the estranged kindred spirits?
