Romano spent nearly a decade acting in an iconic sitcom but only recently sat down to watch Everybody Loves Raymond’s 210 episodes. He also rated each one. His favorite episodes align with viewer sentiment.

Ryan Gosling mesmerized everyone at the the prestigious 96th Academy Awards with his iconic performance of I’m Just Ken, a song from Greta Gerwig’s 2023 film, Barbie. The performance was spellbinding as it left everyone at the ceremony grooving to the mellifluous voice of the Blue Valentine actor. Safe to say, that the actor had stole the show on the Oscars stage by being Ken.

Ryan Gosling has revealed a moment in 2016’s La La Land that still “haunts” him to this day.
In an interview for WSJ Magazine‘s “The One” video series, the actor admitted that if he could, he would reshoot the film’s dance sequence with co-star Emma Stone that was featured on the movie’s promo poster. As for his reason why, it’s all because of what he described as his “La La Hand.”
“There’s a moment that haunts me where we’re dancing, Emma and I. I didn’t know this would become the poster for the movie,” The Fall Guy actor said before letting out a long sigh. “But I thought we were supposed to have our hands up and I thought it’d be cool to put my hand like that,” referring to his wrist slanting down compared to Stone’s hand, as seen in the photo above.

Carin León feels like he’s been hallucinating the last three weekends.
He’s running on just a few hours of sleep and the high of making history at Stagecoach, where he became the first música mexicana singer to perform at the country festival. Onstage, León looked like any other country act, sporting a sleeveless button-up shirt and a matching cowboy hat. But instead, he performed his rootsy, romantic rolas, backed by a full banda: tubas, accordion, and all.
León sees his efforts to blend country music with música mexicana as a poker match.

Back in 2009, a horror film called Orphan told us the story of a married couple who adopts a 9-year-old Russian girl only to discover that she’s actually a criminal adult passing herself off as a child. The film was loosely based on the true story of Barbora Skrlova, a 30-something woman who pretended to be a 13-year-old and did some very twisted things that were very different than what we saw in Orphan. In 2012, a sad case that made it into news reports reminded people of Orphan. It was the story of Natalia Grace, a Ukrainian-born girl with dwarfism who was adopted by American parents who began to suspect she was much older than records said she was. The Grace case has been covered on Dr. Phil and the docu-series The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, and now the Hulu streaming service is moving forward with a Natalia Grace-inspired...

Although some may find the new mystery Wicked Little Letters a bit lax in actual mystery, an incredibly strong cast, led by Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley manages to elevate the film to a wickedly clever piece that makes up for its shortcomings with unabashed enthusiasm and excitement.
Based on an allegedly true story, Wicked Little Letters tells the tale of two women: Edith Swan (Colman) and Rose Gooding (Buckley) who, after Rose is accused of sending Edith and several of the town’s residents several profane letters, set about investigating the crime themselves to prove that Rose is innocent.
Director Thea Sharrock – whose previous feature work includes The One and Only Ivan (2020) and Me Before You (2016) – works from a script that was penned by Jonny Sweet, an actor who has also written scripts for several episodes of the television programs Gap Year (2017), Together (2015), and Chickens (2011). Brace yourself for the final chapter of Joe Goldberg’s bloody tale.
You is returning for a fifth and final season — and production is already underway in New York. Check out a photo of Penn Badgley (he/him) back in the city where it all began below.
Based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes, You centers on Joe, a book-loving, hopeless romantic with a penchant for stalking and killing the women he (claims to) love, as well as anyone else who gets in his way. While Joe’s search for The One began in New York, it took him first to Los Angeles in Season 2, then to the suffocating suburbs of San Francisco in Season 3 and most recently London in the just-launched fourth season. There across the pond, the genre-hopping drama threw him into a one-percent skewering whodunit that forced him to finally accept he’s not a good man...

They’ve been to the museums, tried the local delicacies and gone on the sightseeing tours, so that we could stay luxuriously put.

"It's time you owned up to these letters!" Sony Pictures Classics has revealed a new official US trailer for a British comedy called Wicked Little Letters, described as a "scandalously sweary" film from filmmaker Thea Sharrock (Me Before You and The One & Only Ivan). This premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival last year, and now has US release dates set - in NY & LA on March 29th and nationwide on April 5th this spring. Small town. Big mystery. Bad language. When people in Littlehampton - including conservative local Edith - begin to receive letters full of hilariously harsh profanities, rowdy Irish migrant Rose is charged with the crime. Suspecting something is amiss, the town's women investigate. Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley star as Edith and Rose, respectively, with Timothy Spall, Gemma Jones, Lolly Adefope, and Anjana Vasan. This does look hilarious! Reviews from TIFF praise the film saying: "The central...

Back in 2012, Taika, 48, directed NBC’s “Brotherhood of Man” commercial that aired during the Super Bowl.

"Why would I send a letter when I can just say it?" Studiocanal UK has revealed a hilarious new red band trailer for Wicked Little Letters, a "scandalously sweary" film from filmmaker Thea Sharrock (Me Before You and The One & Only Ivan). This recently premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival, with a February 2024 release date for the UK, though still no US date confirmed yet. Which is a shame - someone release this soon! I've heard plenty of great things about this foul-mouth comedy, full of funny...

Britney Spears made her long-awaited musical comeback in the summer of 2022 with a collaboration with none other than Elton John. The two artists joined forces for a new version of "Tiny Dancer," and the infectious single, called "Hold Me Closer," was released on Aug. 26.
The project was incredibly meaningful for both Spears and her fans, as the singer hadn't released new music since 2016's "Glory." She'd also been released her 13-year conservatorship a year prior and was finally free to create the music she wanted.
In her memoir "The Woman in Me," which was released on Oct. 24, Spears recounts how happy she was to have the ability to collaborate with John. "I was honored. Like me, Elton John has been through so much, so publicly," she wrote. "It's given him incredible compassion. What a beautiful man on all levels. To make the collaboration even more meaningful: as a child, I...

The first of many great moments in Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie: Right as the lights went down, the girl in Row H spoke up. “Oh my God, I should have asked permission before now, but we’re all gonna sing, right?” she pleaded in the dark. “Because I wanna sing!” A woman seated a few rows in front replied, “Sing loud and proud, sister.” And that’s all the discussion anyone needed about that. Because this was opening night of the Eras concert film, and nothing could have...

Angelina Jolie has started choosing the roles she takes in movies based on the commitment she needs to make to a feature. The actress recently told Vogue in a new cover story that she began accepting less roles “seven years ago, only taking jobs that didn’t require long shoots.”
The reason, she explained, was that she needed to work on herself — especially amid her contentious divorce from Brad Pitt. “We had a lot of healing to do,” she said, inexplicably speaking in the plural. “We’re still finding our footing.

Before John Wick ushered in a new era of stuntmen turned directors, Expend4bles director Scott Waugh was one of the few exceptions to pull off the feat. Following in the footsteps of his older brother Ric Roman Waugh, the younger Waugh made his own luck by funding 2012’s Act of Valor and co-directing the action film alongside Mouse McCoy. The film starred active-duty Navy Seals, and its success then opened the door for Waugh to direct Need for Speed for Disney, as well as DreamWorks head Steven Spielberg.
Expend4bles is now Waugh’s fifth feature film, and he managed to cross off a major bucket-list item in working with Sylvester Stallone. The duo were supposed to join forces with Jackie Chan on Waugh’s other 2023 film, Hidden Strike, but the volatility of Hollywood schedules led to Stallone’s exit. As of late, Bruce Springsteen has received some criticism from fans for sticking to a rigid setlist during the E Street Band’s ongoing world tour. No one who attended The Boss’ hometown show in E. Rutherford, NJ on Sunday left complaining though; Springsteen deviated from the tour’s traditional setlist by subbing in seven fan favorites.
Over the course of 28-song performance, Springsteen and E Street Band treated fans to renditions of “Two Hearts,” Something in the Night,” “Spirit in the Night,” “Atlantic City,” “Jungleland,” “Detroit Medley,” and “Jersey Girl.”
All told, it made for easily the best setlist of the tour. The second half of the show was particularly epic, as the band finished the main set with “The Rising,” “Badlands,” and “Thunder Road,” and followed that up with a seven-song encore featuring “Jungleland,” “Born to Run,” “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” “Detroit Medley,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,...

Taking Back Sunday have announced their new album, 152, marking the band’s first studio full-length in seven years. It drops on October 27th, but the latest single, “S’old,” is out now. Stream it below.
Spanning 10 tracks, 152 was produced by Tushar Apte and mixed by Neal Avron. In a statement, the band said, “Our hope is that you’re able to find a little bit of yourself in this new collection of songs, because you’re not alone, and neither are we.”
“You would think after 20 years, we knew what each other is going to do,” said lead vocalist Adam Lazzara. “But there were so many times making this record where I heard the initial idea and thought I knew where it would go, but then I was super surprised.” Drummer Mark O’Connell added, “When we’re writing songs, the one thing we ask ourselves [is], ‘Is it capable of making people feel something?...

If you’re from Long Island and you miss the good old days, back around 20 years ago, when you could see Taking Back Sunday play a house show, well, then here’s some great news for you: over the weekend, the band took the stage in a backyard on Long Island, and delivered an electrifying surprise set. Watch fan-recorded videos below.
The throwback gig happened on Sunday, August 13th, the day after the band played a headlining set at the Four Chord Music Festival in Western Pennsylvania. According to fans on social media, it was about as simple as it sounds: the band arranged a show at a friend’s house, set up in the backyard, and played.
Videos posted to social media show a yard full of fans moshing, crowd surfing, dancing, singing along, and, overall, having the times of their lives. “Only on Long Island can the stuff of dreams happen,...

It’s will.i.am and Britney Spears, b**ch! The duo has come together again for another hit.
The Black Eyed Peas frontman and Spears released their latest collaboration, “Mind Your Business”, late Thursday evening, to the delight of fans.
The pop-synth dance track pulsates with a hypnotic beat and a unique energy, as both Spears and will.i.am offer up vocals for the electronica-steeped musical offering, which also benefits from a stuck-in-your-head-for-days hook.
When the track was first announced, will.i.am dropped a visual via social media that began with a snippet of their track, “Scream & Shout”, from will.i.am’s 2013 album, #willpower. The song then cuts to a different upbeat techno beat where Spears is heard saying, “Mind your business, b**ch.”
As the video comes to an end, the text “will.i.am x Britney Tomorrow” appears on the screen.

‘Loot’ Production Designer Breaks Down Depicting an ‘Imbalance of Wealth’ and Series’ Status Symbols
When “Loot” production designer Jennifer Dehghan signed onto the production, she knew it would “snag people with the funny and the pretty,” but she hoped that the series’ “larger conversation [would keep] going on.” Dehghan noted for Variety how “‘Loot’ delves into the late capitalist world, the housing crisis, rising poverty and the imbalance of wealth.”
The AppleTV+ half-hour comedy follows billionaire Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph), after her husband John (Adam Scott), leaves her for his secretary and the series picks up as soon as Molly reroutes her life. With a settlement of $87 billion and newfound free time, Molly heads to the foundation she created and soon she settles herself with the staff, Sofia (Michaela Jaé Rodriguez), Howard (Ron Funches), Arthur (Nat Faxton) and her secretary Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster).

Disney, after removing dozens of shows and movies from Disney+ and Hulu last week, said it will incur a $1.5 billion impairment charge for the June quarter.
In an SEC filing Friday, the company said that on May 26, 2023, it removed “certain produced content” from its direct-to-consumer streaming services. As a result, Disney will record a $1.5 billion impairment charge in its fiscal third quarter financial statements “to adjust the carrying value of these content assets to fair value.”
Disney said it’s continuing to review content on streaming platforms and “currently anticipates additional produced content will be removed from its Dtc and other platforms, largely during the remainder of its third fiscal quarter.” As a result, Disney currently estimates it may incur further impairment charges of up to about $400 million related to produced content.

It's easy to forget, what with all the recent hype about it, but as far as movies are concerned the concept of a "multiverse" is anything but new. Gwyneth Paltrow was starring in rom-coms about alternate realities 25 years ago, with the groundbreaking "Sliding Doors," and just a few years later Jet Li tried to kill every other version of himself across alternate realities in the action-thriller "The One."
But a few things have certainly changed. Audiences seem to grasp the concept pretty clearly now — making weird and complex films that would have probably struggled to find mainstream acceptance years ago into massive Oscar-winning crossover hits — and so do motion picture studios. Thanks to multiverses, studios can now create movies and shows where every iteration of their intellectual property can exist simultaneously, making the nostalgic seem new and the fan service seem poignant.

Melissa Barrera of Scream (2022) and Scream VI has signed on to star in the horror film The One alongside Nicholas Hoult of The Menu and Renfield. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The One is described as being an “erotic nightmare”.
Kevin Armento and Jaki Bradley will be directing The One from a screenplay they wrote together, and while this will mark the feature directorial debut of Armento, Bradley previously directed the 2019 thriller Last Ferry and the 2021 “podcast movie” Treat. The story Armento and Bradley have crafted for The One centers on Taylor (Barrera), who makes a last-ditch effort to find love by becoming a contestant on a reality dating show. Now down to just herself and two other women competing to win the heart of Mason (Hoult), Taylor begins to feel the artifice of the show fade, and the game becomes terrifyingly real. Amidst the opulent beachfront setting, fairytale dates and ever-flowing champagne,...

HanWay Films has boarded The One, an erotic thriller starring Melissa Barrera and Nicholas Hoult and will launch sales at the Cannes Film Festival.
The project comes from writer-director team Kevin Armento and Jaki Bradley and is billed as “a nightmarish horror about the romantic and psychological warfare waged by our beloved popular entertainment — and also begs the question… are we, the viewers, complicit?”
Barrera, who’s coming off box office horror hit Scream VI, leads the cast opposite the Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated Hoult. Barrera plays Taylor, whose last-ditch effort to find love by becoming a contestant on a reality dating show begins to feel terrifyingly real as she becomes a finalist. Amidst an opulent beachfront setting, fairy-tale dates and champagne, “pursuit turns into obsession and rivalry turns into treachery as reality itself blurs.”
HanWay Films is handling worldwide sales, with WME Independent and UTA co-repping the film for North America.
