Last week, a rumor from The Cosmic Circus suggested that Peter Parker will ultimately come up against two of his most iconic villains in the new Spider-Man trilogy that's said to be in the works from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, and we may now know how these characters will make their return.
Just in case this is accurate, here's your spoiler warning.
It's said that the plan is to have Spidey encounter the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus again in the new movies, but that doesn't mean it'll be Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius! The site is now hinting that two other characters will assume these villainous mantles.
"I know many people are curious as to how exactly they will do Doc Ock and Green Goblin again when the time comes. I’d just like to let everyone know, the whole world was watching the final fight during No Way Home.

The unbelievable but perfectly deserved success of X-Men ‘97 gave fans one of the best TV/movie adaptations of the evergreen X-Men in recent years. The show, which was a revival of the classic 90s TV series, delightfully managed to stay consistent with the traditional arc while giving fans plenty to chew on for the time being.

However, as Marvel will testify, viewers are constantly on the lookout for new content, and X-Men ‘97 has resulted in considerable interest in similar reboots of some of the other animated offerings that Marvel can work on. That includes a plethora of its 90s animated shows, such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Spider-Man Unlimited, or even The Incredible Hulk.

Even the biggest stars in the world have bad days. This is something erstwhile Spider-Man Andrew Garfield has been open about, whether he's speaking openly about grieving his mother or admitting that he still has the occasional crisis of confidence, even during the height of his success. The actor spoke to BBC Radio 1 about the latter situation in an interview in 2022, and admitted that he had a rather unorthodox comfort show when he was performing as Prior Walter in the towering, intimidating stage masterpiece "Angels in America."
"I'm doing 'Angels in America' in London and I'm staying in my apartment and 'BoJack' was my kind of comfort show during that time," Garfield told interviewer Ali Plumb, referencing Raphael Bob-Waksberg's incredible, now-ended animated series "BoJack Horseman," which centers on a washed-up celebrity horse. Andrew Garfield is the second actor to portray the iconic web-slinger in live-action but had the shortest run which was unfortunate. The fans always wanted a third Amazing Spider-Man film, and this brand new mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man is the perfect alternative.
The actor’s endearing performance captured the hearts of the fans and campaigned to give Garfield another chance. Unfortunately, it may not happen but the gaming community will not let the dream die and give him the third outing he deserves.

Andrew Garfield deserves another shot as Spider-Man.
The actor’s journey for portraying the hero was cut short but was given a second chance through a supporting role in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: No Way Home. All three live-action Spider-Men actors shared the screen for the first time but it is not the same as being the lead.

Tim Dunn stands on the stage of his Midland, Texas, church with a wry smile on his face. He’s preparing to preach about his favorite subjects: Jesus and Peter Parker.
Dunn is a fracking magnate who is also a member of the “pulpit team” at Midland Bible Church, a Rapture-forward congregation that worships in a modern building a stone’s throw from Dunn’s mansion on the north edge of town — where dense suburbs yield to a scrub desert of greasewood and mesquite, pockmarked by the seesawing derricks of the West Texas oil patch.

Willem Dafoe’s transformation into Hollywood’s iconic villain is nothing short of cinematic poetry, the face and eyes of the actor gleams a sinister allure. In his evil-laden portfolio, he has portrayed a number of antagonists but one stands above all. It is none other than the psychotic Green Goblin from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise.

The character is one of the most fan-favorite villains in the franchise, and his fan following is so vast that he returned in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The world changed forever when Samuel L. Jackson showed up in the post-credits scene of Iron Man as Nick Fury talking to Robert Downey Jr. about the ‘Avengers Initiative’. The scene gave birth to the MCU and the culture of post-credits scenes that did not just feature in the Marvel films but also carried over to every other shared cinematic universe.
While the legendary scene teased The Avengers, which drove fans crazy, one deleted take of the scene showed Jackson referring to Spider-Man and the X-Men. While both properties were owned by Sony and Fox at the time, the dialogue proved that producer and Marvel CEO Kevin Feige always wanted to include the two in the MCU.

Considering Marvel and DC’s vast universe, there are several characters who are yet to make onscreen appearances. Stan Lee is known as the man who gave the comics industry some of its greatest heroes, like the Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and the X-Men. However, the comic creator is also quite famous for pulling pranks in the industry, especially on up-and-coming artists who he meets.

The comics creator’s cameos in the films that are based on Marvel characters were a highlight for many, which were all shot together to allow the aging creator some leeway. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck once appeared in a couple of movies together during the first phase of their relationship. But Kirsten Dunst believed this had an unwanted impact regarding celebrity couples in movies.
How Kirsten Dunst felt ‘Gigli’ affected making movies with her own partner Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez | Christopher Polk/Getty Images
Gigli came out during a particular low-point in Affleck’s career. A few of his movies weren’t doing too well at the time, and his relationship with Lopez was being scrutinized in the media. Gigli didn’t help matters, either. The Martin Best-directed comedy film saw Lopez and Affleck collaborating for the first time. Because of the attention their relationship was generating with the media, some felt this would’ve translated into box-office success.
But the theory couldn’t have been more wrong, and Gigli just opened Affleck and Lopez up to more criticism.

Being one of the most popular superheroes, Spider-Man has been the subject of numerous adaptations, each representing its own iterations of Peter Parker and the web-slinger. While some of these have become a fan favorite, such as Tobey Maguire, and achieved huge commercial success, such as Tom Holland’s venture into the MCU, Andrew Garfield’s stint as The Amazing Spider-Man remains the least favorite.

When Spider-Man: No Way Home hit the theatres in 2021, fans around the world lost it as they witnessed Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland joining hands in order to battle it out with a band of antagonists who were threatening to ravage across the Multiverse. With a trip down memory lane, and numerous Easter eggs in the film, it was an experience to behold for fans across the world. And it wouldn’t have been the same without the return of Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Man. And this induction was made possible only because of how Disney Studios acquired the rights to Spider-Man. But Tom Hardy might have dropped a major update on a future Spider-Man movie.

Sunday mornings, freshly cooked breakfast, perched in front of the TV – that’s how millions of kids spent the beginning of their week across the States back in the day. Ever since Marvel traumatized their fans through Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending, audiences have been curious about what the fourth film will bring. Spider-Man 4 will start a new chapter for the character, no longer having a safety net and moving on with his life after being forgotten by the world.
Spider-Man: No Way Home I Sony Pictures
While the earlier films had lighter tones, bringing about an almost child-like essence, it can be expected that the new trilogy is certainly going to be different. If the new films adopt a darker tone, there is no better way to establish such a theme than through a good villain.

"The Boys" season 4 will soon be upon us, but we'd be remiss to forget the spin-off series "Gen V." I was skeptical about the college-set superhero show, but it proved to have the same audacious spirit as its parent program ("Gen V" has pluckier leads too).
One of the most memorable "Gen V" scenes is the "puppet massacre" in episode 5, "Welcome to the Monster Club." Sam Riordan (Asa Germann), a super-strong teenager who's been locked in a lab, goes berserk and tears some attacking soldiers apart. But due to his loose grip on reality, he imagines himself and the others as Muppets, leading to a scene where Sam disembowels men but we only see puppet blood and bones. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' hunt for a Spider-Man 4 director continues, with Bad Boys: Ride or Die helmers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah now rumoured to be in the running for the job.

For, like, forever, Spider-Man has been one of the biggest fan-favorite characters introduced initially in Marvel Comics and then in the MCU.
However, while his initial live-action projects did justice to him through the ways the filmmakers helmed them under the production direction of Sony, the latest films in the franchise haven’t been all too favorable, all because of the excessive use of AI.

Yet, while that’s that, it seems like things are about to get worse instead of getting better. This comes after the CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment (Spe), Tony Vinciquerra, recently confirmed that the studio is eyeing to use more AI to reduce costs in the near future.
And, as expected, this news is anything but good for all those fans who were hoping to see more projects like the ones before.

A new rumor indicates that Universal Orlando maybe replacing the Simpsons Ride and the entire Springfield area when their deal for the IP is up. According to some sources that deal may expire in 2028. However, Universal could shut it down early and convert it into something else.
What could it become?
One rumor indicates that the Springfield area could shut down ahead of 2028 with its two attractions, The Simpsons Ride and Kang and Kodo’s Twirl ‘n Hurl. The area would then be rethemed to Pokémon.
Pokémon coming to Universal is not a new rumor.
Previously, rumors swirled about the pocket monsters coming to Epic Universe in the first phase or as expansions to the Nintendo Land area.
Other rumors had a Pokemon attraction replacing “The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man” at Universal Studios Florida. Then Universal Studios Japan closed its Spider-Man attraction, and many think it will be replaced with a Pokémon attraction.

Director Jon Watts is showing off his versatility and arguably getting back to his filmmaking roots. While Watts is known for directing three “Spider-Man” movies for Marvel, the filmmaker started out in the world of thriller and indies and got his breakout start with 2015’s “Cop Car,” which found much acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival that year. The buzz on the indie landed Watts the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” gig, which occupied him for several years, but he’s returning to the land of dramatic thrillers with the new starry field, “Wolfs.”

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie series is expanding with another installment after the grand success of the third movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was the ultimate treat for Marvel fans. Now, the upcoming Spider-Man movie, as speculation dictates, is going to be more grounded with a bit of multiversal touch.
Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures’ Spider-man: No Way Home.
If not multiversal, Spider-Man might go to its classic root, to its classic villains— Norman and Harry Osborn. New speculation recently suggested that fans could see Dune star Timothée Chalamet making his Spider-Man debut playing a villainous Harry Osborn and in this case, Kevin Feige might hire one MCU star again, this time for the role of Norman Osborn.

As Sony Pictures continues to re-release all eight live-action Spider-Man movies in theaters, the latest Spidey adventure to swing back on to the big screen is 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home.
While the first few films performed pretty well, it seems these more recent instalments in the franchise are simply too fresh in a lot of people's minds, as Tom Holland's second solo outing as the Webhead took in just $265K on Monday for the lowest opening day of the re-releases so far.
Interestingly, this version of Far From Home includes a scene that didn't feature from the original theatrical cut of the movie, with Spidey taking out some goons in his Iron Spider suit.

With the fourth Spider-Man film confirmed to be in development, rumors have emerged claiming that Venom might make his appearance known in the MCU. Although nothing can’t be said for certain as of now, and we will have to wait until something official comes from Marvel or Sony, this hasn’t stopped fans from picking their favorite choice for Eddie Brock.

We've been waiting what feels like a very long time for Spider-Man 4, but the movie is now finally somewhere on the horizon. Rumours continue to swirl about what to expect, though everyone seems to agree that Venom will factor into the story.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home's post-credits scene, we learned Eddie Brock had decided against travelling to New York to confront the web-slinger. However, when he was sent back to his reality, Venom left a piece of himself behind.
That has to be touched on eventually, and with Peter Parker friendless and alone, now could be the right time to take Spidey down a dark path.
In this feature, we're taking a deep dive into the Spider-Man 4 rumours and exploring where Marvel Studios could take this story in the hero's franchise...and beyond! Just tap the "Next"/"View List" buttons below to find out more...

My Adventures with Superman is one of the most brilliant superhero animated series. Created by Brendan Clougher, Jake Wyatt, and Josie Campbell, the Adult Swim series tells the story of Superman aka Clark Kent as he starts his new job at The Daily Planet, with his roommate Jimmy Olson, and his senior intern at The Daily Planet who is none other than Lois Lane. They quickly become a team and try to bring in big stories so that they can become real reporters while Clark also tries to become the hero he is meant to be. My Adventures with Superman has great action but the brilliant thing about the series is that it isn’t an action series about Superman, it’s a series about a superhero and his relationships as he figures out who he really is. So, if you love the heart, optimism, great story, and fantastic animation...

After delivering impressive performances in movies like The Impossible and In the Heart of the Sea, Tom Holland hit the big time when he was cast as Peter Parker in 2016's Captain America: Civil War.
He'd go on to star in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, becoming an MCU veteran in just five years. However, outside of his Marvel Studios work, Holland has struggled.
While he's impressed on the animation side in Onward and Spies in Disguise, Cherry, Chaos Walking, Uncharted, and his first TV series, The Crowded Room, all drew mixed-to-negative reviews.
As a result, it's hard to shake the feeling that, outside of Spider-Man, Holland is struggling to make his mark. In contrast, his girlfriend and fellow MCU actor Zendaya, has received critical acclaim for her work in Dune and The Challengers.

The new Ultimate Universe is unlike anything we could have expected and, with each new issue, we learn more about this world.
So far, we've learned that The Maker prevented a radioactive spider from biting the young Peter and likewise stopped other superheroes from being created. In their place, he formed a secret council to rule the world from the shadows.
In the first issue of Ultimate Spider-Man, Peter, now a married father of two, received the spider which should have bitten him from Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Lad. The time-traveller also sent him a "picotech" suit and a warning about those really in charge.
Since then, we've seen the new Spider-Man get to grips with his powers, all while a new Green Goblin takes aim at the villainous Kingpin of Crime. The Goblin is Harry Osborn, a billionaire intent on making Wilson Fisk pay for his father's death.

It was recently confirmed that Sony is developing its last Venom movie ever, Venom: The Last Dance. Although no further details regarding the movie have been revealed, whether this will be Tom Hardy’s last dance too or not, there have been some pretty interesting rumors about the upcoming movie.

According to one leaked plot for the movie, Sony is reportedly planning to introduce a 10-year-old Peter Parker in the film. And if this rumored leak holds any traction, the film will well ruin the one scene that ties Hardy’s Venom movies with Tom Holland’s MCU movies.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe lost its biggest hero when Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man fell in Avengers: Endgame, but not after saving the day/Earth 616. Ever since then, the MCU has struggled to create the kind of projects that made it such a global success in the first place.
While most fans have asked for Kevin Feige and company to focus on originality and come up with new narratives that delve into the wealth of characters the Comics have on offer, some have also pressed for a Robert Downey Jr. return. Whether that is a potential option especially considering the actor’s own wishes, Feige had previously claimed they would ‘never want to mafically undo’ Stark’s heroic death.

Ever since Norman Osborn's sins were supernaturally cleansed, he's been a force for good in the Marvel Universe, both as the ethical C.E.O. of Oscorp and as the heroic Gold Goblin.
To ensure Norman wouldn't fall into old psychotic habits, Peter agreed to work for him at Oscorp and the two have since bonded. However, thanks to Kraven the Hunter, the former Green Goblin's sins recently returned and inhabited Spider-Man for a time.
That turned him into a very sinister Spider-Man, leaving Norman and Kraven to use a sci-mystical spear to remove the sins from Peter. Or did they? Norman has been acting strange lately. But, then again, so has Peter.
In today's Amazing Spider-Man #50, The Living Brain begins malfunctioning and declares, "Peter Parker Is Not Spider-Man." It also prints out a series of random words which, when read in Norman's office, reveal his cache of Green Goblin weaponry.

The Spider-Man 4 rumors have been picking up steam over the past few weeks, as Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios (hopefully) get closer to making some kind of official announcement regarding the No Way Home follow-up.
Depending on what ends up being revealed in the trailers, this latest rumor may not turn out to be a major spoiler, but we're being careful just in case it is something that's kept out of the marketing.
According to Mttsh, Venom will appear in the fourth Spider-Man movie, but won't be the "main villain." There's no mention of Tom Hardy, so there's always a chance the Venom symbiote will take over another host.
Peter Parker himself, perhaps?
This would back up a previous rumor that the piece of the alien symbiote left behind at the end of No Way Home will factor into the plot, but would it be a smart move...

The Apprentice director Ali Abbasi has said he would like Donald Trump to watch his Cannes Competition selection after the former US president’s campaign declared it will sue the filmmakers over “blatantly false assertions”.
“I don’t necessarily think this is a movie he would dislike,” Abbasi told a Cannes press conference on Tuesday. ”I think he would be surprised. I would offer to go and meet him and have a screening and talk about the movie afterwards.”
Trump’s campaign labelled the 1970s-set origins story centred on the relationship between Trump and his notorious fixer Roy Cohn “pure...
