A good commercial flick by Naseer
vishal_wall28 July 2006
A small time cricketer Raj (Naseer) finds out that he is an heir to unbelievable riches. The only catch is he has to spend 30 carore rupees in 30 days to inherit it.

This is a very good film. Naseer for a change has acted well. Naseer I don't know why performs badly in commercial flicks. Satish Shah is mind blowing. Aditya Pancholi is good. Mandakini is of course forgettable. Poonam Dhillan is just OK. Gavaskar has obliged everyone by his guest appearance. Music is bad. Soul of the film is Naseer and story itself. There's a lot going on in this film. Frame after frame there's something inventive and interesting going on. The whole 'Ohm' built-up is corny and stupid. The way Naseer spends his money is very well done. It seems he cant own a property so he keeps spending on helicopters and salaries etc. Very enjoyable flick from 80's. Is this a remake? Of course it is. Its an invalid question in India.

Full on timepass movie

I remember watching this movie in my childhood days and was fascinated towards the theme of movie. I wish I could have got to spend 30 crores in 30 days. The movie was good and it was different. The storyline is unique and will make you watch the entire movie. Naseeruddin Shah was brilliant and cameo by Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar was the highlight of the movie. Don't miss this movie at all. Full timepass movie

This this movie has shown the real face of people who runs after money and money runs away from them., it also shows the power and impact of OM.

This movie which shows how innocent common man of Dharavi (Biggest slum of Asia in Mumbai) who has big dream deals with daily issues in normal routine. The this movie shows how people are running behind a person who becomes rich suddenly even media, peprazziz, Bollywood actor actress, cricketers, politicians are being after him for money. This film prove that money really matters.

The camera angle the music the dialogue the story line everything is like very much perfect.

A pretty nicely made Hindi version of Richard Pryor's 1985 comedy Brewster's Million. Naseeruddin Shah as Richard Pryor Satish Shah as John Candy Cricket as Baseball!! Sunil Gavaskar's cameo is the most creative thing to the director's credit in the whole movie. If you really want to enjoy some laughs, I would recommend you watch the original. Overall the movie is not bad at all. Naseeruddin Shah is probably the only reason this movie was watched and he has fit outstandingly in Richard Pryor's shoes. Supported by a very talented Satish Shah, the movie does not have a dull moment. The mention of the original would've been nice in the closing credits, but just like countless other bollywood copies, it is missing and hence keeps the plagiarism tradition in bollywood alive and kicking.
