J-pop music review show
HEY! HEY! HEY! is a long running J-pop (or Japanese popular music) review show. It is seen Sunday nights on the INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL in the USA and runs 30 minutes. If I am not mistaken, the original production by FUJI TV in Japan runs longer. What we see in the USA appears to be edited for time.
HEY! HEY! HEY! has two hosts who make light banter with their guests before each performance. Sometimes there are silly games and demonstrations. The program is Japanese language with no English subtitles, and it all takes place before the live audience.
HEY! HEY! HEY! features special themes from time to time such as year-end reviews and holiday shows. There is an official web site here: http://www.fujiint.co.jp/HEY/
This show is OK, but it would be 100 times better if it were subtitled.
