When Coach Jones, Radio, and Coach Honeycutt eat burgers in the office, Coach Jones opens his burger box and eats the burger. After Coach Honeycutt gives Radio his drink, Jones's burger box is closed. He opens it, with a fresh burger inside, and eats it.
When Coach Jones arrives at the jail to pick up Radio, Radio turns and says "There's Coach!" and gestures at coach with his right hand, which is holding a sandwich. In the next shot, the sandwich is in Radio's lap in his left hand.

When Radio opens the turquoise radio that was given to him by coach Jones you can see that the cord stays with the back housing and is no longer connected to the radio chassis yet we are led to believe that as Radio is moving the tuner and we hear the sounds of stations changing that there is power to the chassis. That type of radio has a two-prong power connection on the circuit board that plugs into the molded plug in the housing when it's assembled. When opened, that power connection is unplugged like pulling the plug from a wall power socket. You can see the two power prongs on the circuit board when they show it from the rear.
In the barbershop, when the coach resigns, one shot shows a man wearing a John Deere trucker hat. The deer on the hat is jumping upward, which means it was produced in 2000 or later. In 1976, the deer jumped downward.
