A young man is a massive fan of pop star Jay Pecks, singing his songs in the street, buying all his singles and even dreaming about him at night. When he realises he cannot ever really be with Pecks, he decides to take his own life without success. Hearing that Pecks himself has just died pushes him even further.
Although the title is a lazy (and forced - did we need the capitals?) pun this film is actually quite witty. It is a little dark and also is an one joke affair, but, for 5 minutes, it is worth watching. The punchline happens so quickly that I didn't have time to see it coming, and it was more enjoyable for it. Early scenes shot in Birmingham city centre make for an amusing scenario, albeit one that is stretched to make use of a well known outside location.
The lead actor is quite good, he knows he is in a comedy yet plays it real for the duration. As the sole player in the film he holds the attention well. Overall the short is quite short and simple with one main central joke - it isn't hilarious but it is short and punchy enough to briefly entertain, which is enough to justify watching for under five minutes.
