- Girls wear leotards, short shorts and sports bras in almost every scene. Lots of bare midriffs.
- One particular scene is a montage of girls spraying Tuff Skin (a special adhesive spray to keep bandages etc. in place) on their butts. This is to keep their leotards from riding up.
- A boy comments on the shape of a girl's butt, but not in a good way.
- A group of girls admire some boys with their girlfriends, asking what the other girls have that they don't, to which Haley replies 'Boobs', and two other girls look down at their chests.
Violence & Gore

- A girl accidently rides her BMX bike through a glass door and gets thrown off it.
- A girl falls repeatedly while trying to get back into shape.
- One particular girl does a skill on the balance beam and falls, assumingly breaking her leg. It's not graphic, but it'll definitely make you flinch.
- A girl briefly chokes another girl who constantly harrasses and insults her.

- The main character reveals to her current coach that the reason she walked out of Worlds was because she had just found out that her mother was having an affair with her then-coach. The whole scene is extremely sad and emotionally intense.
