- GoofsWhen Andy and Barney arrive in front of Andy's house to take a look at Newton's paint job of the porch, they are looking on the wrong side of the street. They are facing in the opposite direction... the "church-side" of Andy's street. Behind them, in the background, is Andy's side of the street. And, after Andy and Barney repaint the porch, and Andy brings over Newton the next day for the "congratulations," Andy and Newton are also looking on the wrong side of the street.

Don Rickles plays Newton Munroe, a bad salesman. He is utterly inept and screws up everything he puts his hands on. His materials are substandard. Andy feels sorry for him, even though he is truly a pest. The idea is to get him successful at something.
