The Father Christmas Affair
studioAT2 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a wonderful Christmas episode of the much loved sitcom.

I agree with the previous reviewer - the scene with the Father Christmas display is fantastic, but equally so is Mr Lucas and Mr Humphries trying to teach Mr Grainger a song and dance number.

This won't be an episode you're likely to see repeated though, due to its use of black face.

If you can write that off as a symbol of the times when made though you'll find lots to enjoy here.

Grace Brothers is once about to enter the Christmas period, and this year Young Mr Grace has a new strategy, each department will have a CDU.

It is a classic episode, and is funny from start to finish, but this legendary episode will always be remembered for one scene in particular. That moment where Mr Grace appears in front of The Father Christmas display is one of the funniest moments of all time, hilarious.

Lots of great scenes, including an irascible Mr Grainger moaning about his minute steak.

Why can't they make Christmas shows like this anymore? A classic 10/10
