This is one of the funniest episodes in the series. Don't @ me

There are some classic lines in this episode. This is always one of me and my brothers favorite episodes to watch when the rewatch comes around.

Not much happens in terms of progressing the plot, but there is some good character development.

This episode developed all the characters very well and created empathy between the audience and the characters. And the funniest episode yet! Hahahha

The funniest episode so far

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the humor in this one. I also loved the interactions between Katara and Aang. There's something brewing between those two and my girlfriend and I are here for it!

Proof positive that filler episodes can be good

This episode is pure filler and I don't care, it's great. People claim the problem with The Great Divide was that it was a filler episode but in fact, it's that The Great Divide was a bad filler episode. This, on the other hand, is a good one.

Sokka is peak comedy throughout this episode (especially given he refuses to believe in prophecies while his best friend is a prophesied Chosen One) and Katara's credulity in the face of the mystical is now shown to be to such an extreme that it's no better than Sokka's cynicism and it's still funny. I also like how there's some ambiguity as to how real Aunt Wu's predictions are or aren't. As well as Aang's relationship with Katara. And this episode's lesson was a good one.

This proves that a "mere filler episode" can nonetheless be great.
