Tony gets a final outcome.
Having had his trial, Tony is up before the disciplinary board to learn his punishment. Don goes to collect a medal, and learns that a former friend is under investigation by CIB.
First off, it's been a satisfying storyline, and it's been delivered all in one hit, it used to be the case that you'd get bits of it over weeks, here it's all come one after another.
It's been a strong story, one that returned my interest in the show after a fairly long break away. The show isn't quite at a purple patch, I found the Eddie Santini storyline a little challenging, but the quality is there, and has been very good. This is another consistent episode.
Graham Cole was excellent once again, it really been good seeing Tony in the limelight.
Derek's wife Sandra was funny, explained a lot, perfectly suited to Derek, definitely someone who was keen to see her husband succeed and climb the ranks. Her obvious irritation with Brownlow was amusing.
The food thing about the show was the breadth of talent, the wonderful Samantha Bond appears here again.
Very good, 8/10.
