The number on the train engine was 18. When it pulled into Lone Butte the film must have been in backwards because the train number had changed to 81 and all of the writing on the cars was backwards.
Following a fist fight, Ruth offers Cheyenne a handkerchief to wipe the blood from a cut on his cheek, but in the very next scene on the train platform, the cut on Cheyenne's face is no longer there.
