- A drunk 'vision' after a wine tasting trio to Napa Valley makes Dharma decide to have a baby, so Greg is pressed to try hard and often. Pete is finally fired at Justice. Greg refuses to take his legally incompetent friend or even to write him an insincere letter of recommendation, yet is pressed into that by the girls -although Jane scolded Pete a loser herself- only to be bitterly told that got Pete's fake one found out... Abby announces happily to be a crone, then proves cranky, blamed on menopause, but turns out pregnant herself, to Larry's despair and denial, Dharma thinks that's 'the' baby she dreamed about already.—KGF Vissers
- Dharma's vision of a baby sets her and Greg to officially start trying; They start having sex everywhere. Abby brings her fertility smoothies and dolls of fertility gods. Abby says that she is going through menopause, while Dharma is trying to get pregnant.
Dharma and Greg even tell Kitty and Edward that they are trying to get pregnant. Greg says that they have been married 3 years and now his practice has also stabilized. They both wants kids and are ready for the responsibility. Dharma tells them how she was visited by a beautiful soul who was waiting to be born into their happy family. She says that the baby chose them as they are also ready to start a family.
Pete asks for Greg's help for a job after getting fired; Pete wants to work with Greg in his practice. Pete says that he is a stand-up guy and he wont even be around the office that much to be in the way. Greg refuses since Pete is not competent. Pete went to law school in Barbados. He flunked the bar exam 8 times. Once because he was so hung over that he threw up on it. Dharma says that Greg should help make Pete a better lawyer.
Jane is angry and wants Dharma to convince Greg to write a recommendation letter for Pete who is applying to Harper Levine company. Greg again refuses since he gets a lot of business from that company and doesn't want to jeopardize it. Greg says that he cannot put his income stream under risk, now that they are trying to have a baby.
Dharma and Greg have a big fight over this issue but continue to have sex.
Turns out Pete forged a letter of recommendation from Greg to Harper Levine. But then, Greg wrote the letter upon Dharma's insistence and now Harper Levine has 2 letters from Greg. Pete is livid that Greg promised not to help Pete, and so now Greg's dishonesty has cost Pete a job. Eventually Greg gives Pete a job.
Kitty had invited Dharma and Greg over for a family photo and she wanted everyone to wear pastel colors. Dharma and Greg show up exactly as asked, but their skins have turned orange. Turns out Abby's fertility smoothies had a particularly powerful pigment that changes skin color as a side effect. Larry and Abby also show up for the photo. Dharma misunderstood and invited them for the "family" portrait. Kitty gives up and resolves that nobody will see the photos anyway.
Abby celebrates the onset of menopause. She has not had her period for a while. Slowly she starts to be moodier and more emotional and irritating for everybody concerned. Turns out Abby has fallen pregnant. Dharma is very happy for Abby. Larry is in shock. Abby says that they were not even trying. Dharma is slightly disappointed that the baby did not choose her to be its mother. She does say that it is a relief since she is tired from all the sex and wants to take a rest.
