  Earl Sinclair : You guys are evil! I put on the dumb shows because I liked them, then I put the smart shows on to save the world. You guys have an opportunity to speak to millions and millions of dinosaurs. But you don't care WHAT you put on the air, all you care about is ratings!

• Fran Sinclair : Earl, it's a school night, the children have homework to do.

  Earl Sinclair : Why?

  Fran Sinclair : Because if all they do is watch TV, they'll never amount to anything.

  Earl Sinclair : [sarcastically]  Oh, you're right, Fran, I do nothing but watch TV and *I* don't have a great job. Oh wait, I dooooo!
