This is another solid episode. The interesting novelty here is that we have some of McCall's past--more than we've had since the very first episode--that ties into a parallel with the case-of-the-week.
The baddie, sadly, is the type of person that "The Company" will always have a use for, somewhere, so will never be truly punished short of being killed. That's the message of the show. Sending him to an insane asylum might be a more fitting fate.

Warning: Spoilers
Prisoners of Conscience has a two part story. Robert McCall has to deal with his past. A torture/assassin who killed McCall kill's father kidnaps a man to get information. Prisoners of Conscience has the McCall father son relationship and trauma of the past. The father son relationship them goes in many aspect of Prisoners of Conscience. Trying to find the professional is hard and works into a conclusion of who Robert is. I believe Micky would of made a different decision. Well written and directed with great acting. 6 stars.
