- TriviaThis is the only episode where LeBeau does not appear. He is replaced by the character 'Scotty'. However, Hogan does refer to him when he tells Klink the story about the water coming from a spa in Norway.
- GoofsWhile Col. Hogan is trying to convince Col. Klink that the water in the truck in the yard is spa water, Hogan's lip movement and the sounds briefly become mismatched, as if the audio was redubbed.
Update: The line that is dubbed is, "He had to add an extra barber on at the palace."
- Quotes
Col. Hogan: The driver says it's water, Schultz says it's water, and now Klink says it's water.
Newkirk: What do you think it is, Colonel?
Col. Hogan: With those three men of integrity, I know one thing.
Newkirk: What?
Col. Hogan: It ain't water.
Featured review
Who said water can't be funny.
In this humorous episode, we have a truck that seeks safe refuge from the Allied bombing in the prison camp of Stalag 13. The truck, which has Captain Mueller as the commander, is carrying cargo bound for Berlin. What we find out later, is that the cargo is one barrel of water. But not the regular water but heavy water that is used in making atom bombs. Hogan has got to find a way to stop that shipment from reaching Berlin.
The way Hogan and his men plan to take care of the water is to tell Klink that the water comes from a fountain of youth spa in Norway. Klink, of course, believes the falsehood and in some funny scenes drinks the water for that youthful hop in his step. Hogan plays along to the point of even telling Klink that the water is making him grow hair.
This episode contain more comedy than any episode so far in the production. The script was neatly written and the story interesting. Who thought that an episode about water would be so entertaining. Good watch.
