Sex gets interrupted by Father Dreher and his providential appearance, and by Ginger's realization that Jeff's mother is pregnant.
Robert tells his parents about the French woman he wants to marry and bring back to the States. His announcement causes friction in the Davis household on the race issue. It also brings back memories for the Davises. Robert goes off to bring his bride-to-be back. The Davises open their business and Hank's their first patron.
Hank's anger and sadness overwhelms him and he finds himself in a precarious situation. Anne and Al get married.
Doing something nice for his wife, Charlie finds a lot of money in the house that doesn't belong to him. He also discovers that Caroline was the spy who muddled the union's attempts to broker a deal with Sloan Enterprises. Charlie moves out, but is found again by Gina.
