"Here Comes Bootsie Nightingale" guest stars Johnny Carson's celebrated Matinée Lady, Carol Wayne, in the titular role of glamorous movie star Bootsie Nightingale, set to attend a hospital benefit at NASA on behalf of Amanda Bellows. Naturally, the only way that Tony can go is by lying to his jealous genie about having a terrible time. Bootsie's agent Sam (Jesse White) has his client all excited about dating an astronaut, and convinces Dr. Bellows that Major Nelson would be the perfect escort. Having an angry Jeannie just waiting for him to slip up, Tony tries to avoid Bootsie, to no avail. Carol's voluptuous ditzy blonde shtick was second to none, and Jesse White was born to play shifty managers, as he did on Stan Freberg's 1960 recording "The Old Payola Roll Blues."
