Jonathan and Carla team up to hunt for a killer.

Jonathan is trained up with Carla Borrego to investigate a series of murders, in which the killer is seeing wearing a Davey Crockett hat.

Good start to the new series, it's a very clever story, it's clever, it's unusual, and there are some very amusing moments. Jonathan and Carla's awkward relationship is amusing, as is Carla's odd setup with her oddball husband.

I've always loved that opening sequence, you think one thing is happening, and your brain is telling you something, when something else, pretty macabre is happening. It's a very clever misdirection.

I must be honest, I really did miss Maddy when she left, Quentin was a tough act to follow, but credit where it's due, Sawalha did a good job, I liked Carla, and loved the awkward dynamic that existed between them.

I love the cleverness of it, 8/10.

Adam Klaus missed a dinner date with Johnathan Creek because he was a special dinner date as a Competition Prize. With the competition winner exhibiting, all the social grace of Bessie Bunter.

Johnathan Creek is roped into the Crime Watch show as an specialist expert, and finds himself back in touch with an old flame. The shows presenter Carla Borrego (Julia Sawalha, Saffy Ab Fab). While her new flame is the shows slimey presenter, Brendan Baxter (Ade Edmondson).

Carla Borrego has an urgent appeal from an apparently desperate young woman, and becomes involved in a murder case.

With this Episode viewers are introduced to Johnathan Creek's new oppo Carla Borrego. Whose personality mirrors that of his previous associate Maddy Magellan. Johnathan certainly has an unerring penchant, for self opinionated garrulous females.
