Before the first bomb goes off killing Hacket, there's a closeup of his hand operating a white timepiece. Almost 20 minutes later, with Hacket already dead, there's a closeup of Becker's hand operating the same kind of device, but the hand is clearly the same as Hacket's, with a small cut on the side of the thumb and all.
An x-ray photograph of a bomb reveals an induction coil, which would set off the bomb if a metal object passed into its magnetic field. Hacket uses surgical tools taped up so that all metal is covered, but this would be insufficient since magnetic fields pass through materials such as tape.
Alex Courtney, while listed here and in the closing credits as Det. Evans, was actually referred to as Detective Fowler throughout the episode.
Richard Bradford's character is credited as Joe Milner. That name is only (mistakenly) used once by Stavros at the apartment Milner had the watches sent to. All other times he is Jason Milner, as printed on the oil company's check.
