Patricia Crowley Steals The Show on the One
jesse-335 November 2023
I recently caught Patricia Crowley in an episode of Cain's Hundred and now have seen her in this episode of "The Lieutenant." What a talented and beautiful actress she was in her heyday. Perhaps her wholesomeness limited the types of roles she could get. But out of the countless female actors that bounced across TV screens in the late 50s and early 60s, she was in the elite group. If you can locate this show, you will find a bevy of beauties portraying the various girlfriends, wives, and other characters in the world of the US Marines but few have the well-rounded realness of Path. On PlutoTV, you can catch her on Wanted Dead or Alive in Season 1, Episode 22 and she is a vision as Helen Martin, the owner of a restaurant in the town. Besides her beauty, she is an intriguing woman on several levels.

Warning: Spoilers
The ex wife of the captain comes to him after an unspecified amount of time hoping to reunite with him. She is a very pleasant, likeable person and you find yourself wondering why in the world did they break up. As you watch this episode you begin to realize they still have good feelings toward each other and you suspect they will get remarried. But as the episode continues you begin to see serious differences between them and you realize it will never work out. She is a sparkly, spontaneous type of person, he is more structured and not at all the partying type. As they part, they leave you with the understanding two people can actually love each other inspite of the fact they are incompatible.
