- Kane is playing cards with Terry and Luke when Alex turns up offering some work driving a truck. In no rush to go back to the cottage, Kane stays the night and in the morning is made an offer seemingly too good to refuse by Ray.
- Tensions are rife with Kane now living in the cottage with Stevie, and Sally staying in the main house with Nick and Tess. Stevie struggles to trust Kane when it appears as though he might be reverting to old ways, and Tess struggles with the revelation of Nick's impending fatherhood, which is compounded by the family's reaction to the new arrival.
- Tensions are rife with Kane now living in the cottage with Stevie, and Sally staying in the big house with Nick and Tess. Despite Kane's attempts to get 'straight' work, Stevie's suspicions are aroused when she witnesses him talking to Ray, his old car contact. She tries to help, asking Nick and Alex if there's any work going on Killarney. Later at an awkward dinner, Nick and Kane clash, and Nick inadvertently lets slip Stevie's earlier request. Kane's pride is injured, he would never ask or accept charity from Nick or his woman - he's an old-fashioned guy afterall - and drives off leaving Stevie feeling awful. Tess isn't feeling too crash hot either, when at the same dinner, Sally lets it be known her favourite baby name is Harrison, not after Harry, but after her own grandfather. Later that night, Tess finds Sally in nesting phase rearranging kitchen cupboards. When Sally sees Tess and Nick's wedding photos the veneer cracks and she confesses to still being in love with Nick. Meanwhile Kane is playing cards with Terry and Luke at the truckstop when Alex turns up offering some work driving a truck. In no rush to go back to the cottage, Kane stays the night and in the morning is made an offer seemingly too good to refuse by Ray. Kane knocks it back, but Luke is more receptive to the idea.
