Brilliant.

Mr Bean has problems first at he swimming pool, then at the car park.

There is no denying the sheer genius of Rowan Atkinson, he's incredible here, he's so physically funny, but he has the ability to make you laugh without saying a word, what a gift. There is a naivety and innocent to this show, the like of which, I don't think we're going to see again.

That scene where he makes his own sandwich on the bench, surely has to be one of the show's finest, and best remembered moments.

That scene, and stunt with the three wheel Reliant, that's classic too, so funny.

Interesting to see Angus Deayton playing two roles, first as the lifeguard, and secondly as the man on the park bench.

The man's a genius, 9/10.

"My flexible friend!"

Warning: Spoilers
Old-school British comedy generally had a bad time of it in the 1990's; the B.B.C. and I.T.V. dumped the likes of Russ Abbot, Little & Large, Cannon & Ball, and Terry & June. Spike Milligan was mainly confined to chat-shows, and Les Dawson and Les Dennis only stayed on air by fronting game-shows. An exception to the rule was Rowan Atkinson's splendid 'Mr.Bean', which basically consisted of clever visual comedy ( with minimal dialogue ). 'Curse' was the third broadcast episode. Mr.Bean goes to a swimming baths, and climbs to the highest diving board, only to then suffer vertigo. Luckily, two young lads are on hand to ensure he makes it into the water ( one of them stamps on his fingers ). Next, our hero has lunch in the park, assembling a sandwich from ingredients found on his person, and ingeniously using a credit card as a knife. Finally, with mousy girlfriend 'Irma' ( Matilda Ziegler ) in tow, he goes to see a horror movie and struggles to watch it without openly displaying terror.

All good stuff. When I.T.V.-3 repeated this a few years ago, it deleted the scene where Bean ( sans swimming trunks ) emerges from the pool, and runs into a pack of schoolgirls. I have the feeling that it will someday find its way into Channel 4's 'It Was Alright In The 1990's'. I can see it now: "Look, viewers! A nude man and schoolgirls together! Disgusting! Just shows how much television has changed for the better! Thank goodness for the sophisticated wit of Dapper Laughs!".

Funniest moment - in the cinema, Bean pulls his sweater over his face to avoid looking at the screen. When the lights come on, Irma looks at him and screams!

I like the bit where he knocked the three wheel car over. I reckon that could become a thing

Another favourite Mr Bean episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is another favourite Mr Bean episode with several hilarious scenes and iconic moments.

Opening scene has the black and white of Bean dropping into the spotlight with the choir theme tune - it really brings the nostalgia.

So, Bean attends the swimming pool which I'm reminded of place I've been to. First trying out the slides in the kiddy area before he actually gets vertigo (fear of heights) by trying out the highest diving board. Even the lifeguard sees him hanging by his fingers and doesn't do anything or even the boy stomps down on his fingers making him fall into the pool, where somehow his swimming trunks come off. Just like the hotel episode, I really don't like Bean going around in nude like public streaking which is quite inappropriate, although he scares off girls young ladies. He leaves the carpark with assistance from the Reliant Regal (blue three-wheeler) without paying £16 fee.

Park scene was next and very good even Bean using his card for spreading butter ("my flexible friend", washing lettuce in drinking fountain and baby's bottle of milk into the hot-water bottle.

There's guy named Angus doing more than one character and scene in this episode - first as a lifeguard at the swimming pool then as man on park bench.

Short scene of few seconds of Bean stopping at the traffic lights and copies the cyclist demounting his bicycle and moves into lane at corner.

Finally, the last scene where Bean is in the cinema with his girlfriend I wondered as whose idea is it to watch a horror movie as it seems to been A Nightmare on Elm Street movie with poster showing Freddy Krueger. Even Bean totally hilarious in scaring his girlfriend, including when he hid under his jumper and she mistakenly thought he was decapitated or his head vanished.
