One of the best episodes I've seen so far, it's actually quite a complex mystery, you think you know what's happening, but there's a twist, something bigger is planned.
You have some nice contrasts here, the calmness of Rose's investigation, contrasted with the frantic goings on between Virginia and Stefan.
If we needed further proof that Rose was as cool as ice, this is it, even with Drusilla kidnapped, he doesn't bat an eyelid, he's so sure of his investigative skills.
Joyce Heron delivers a first class performance as the alcoholic, bitter Virginia, she almost has a fallen film star vibe about her, she could easily have gone over the top with the part, but she's very measures, very believable.
Very entertaining.
