- TriviaDr. Joyce Brothers wants to pitch to Maxwell her musical "Nuts", based on Tom Topor's 1979 play of the same title, about a high-class call girl indicted for manslaughter in the first degree after killing a client in self-defense. The play was adapted into 'Nuts (1987)', starring Barbra Streisand.
- GoofsFran has previously referred to her nanny salary of $6/hr and her "minimum wage" pittance. Very unlikely that an employee who has been there for some 20 years before the nanny was hired would earn less than $6 an hour as a butler.
However, the nanny later reveals that she lied on her credit card application "for approval", she quips---with air quotes.
- Quotes
Chastity Claire 'C.C.' Babcock: Well, it's been five days, and I haven't lost a single pound on this damned liquid diet.
Niles: Maybe because it's gin.
[C.C. grimaces at Niles, while she walks over to Fran who is eating a big piece of cake]
Chastity Claire 'C.C.' Babcock: Nanny Fine. How do you eat like that and stay so thin?
Fran Fine: I have a very fast metabolism. Every time I think about how old I am and the fact that I'm still single, my heart starts racing.
