- After being left at the altar, Christian has to move on with his life including the surgeries he has to do. A woman comes in asking to look beautiful. Christian takes his anger out on her and tells her all the other things that are wrong with her. A soldier from Iraq asks to have his war wounds fixed. Quentin seduces the young man while he's recuperating and Sean walks in on them. Sean tries to tell Julia about Quentin having an affair with a man, but Julia chooses not to listen. When Quentin finds out that Sean knew about him and the male patient, Quentin decides to quit his job at McNamara/Troy and to go and work for Julia.
- Dr. Costa discovers during the manual follow-up of Oliver Brandt's successful facial Iraq scars operation, to become a military recruiter, the handsome, happily married corporal is a closet-bisexual. When MPD detective Fischman reports 'hate crime' vandalism at Matt's school, Sean's scolding it's his/or and girl-friend Ariel Alderman's doing alienates his son further.
