In the opening scene - when the 2 men who sent Rocky the money are tearing his living room apart, one of them exclaims, 'shit!'. This is confirmed in the closed captioning (added long after the original airing)..
Thoughout the series, Angel mentions Electric Larry, but, this is the only episode in which Electric Larry's actually seen.
In this episode, Rocky 'wins' a (rigged) contest and goes on a free trip to Hawaii. In the 6th season episode, The Hawaiian Headache (1979), apparently they forgot about this episode, because Jim wins a trip for 2 to Hawaii and takes Rocky, who says he's never been to Hawaii.
When the 2 agents, Steiner and Woolf, are in the room alone, after having just talked with Angel, the unseen voice says to 'call Bannerman...' . Prior to this series, series' creator, Roy Huggins had created the well-loved series, Alias Smith and Jones (1971), which featured a character (played by J. D. Cannon) who was an agent for the Bannerman detective agency (a stand-in for Pinkerton).
Though Rockford's address is given repeatedly throughout the series' run (that's 'Jim' Rockford), Rocky - Joseph Rockford's address isn't - except a few times, such as here, where it's shown on a list of addresses the 2 men who mailed the money had. It lists Rocky's address as '3654 Willowcrest Dr., Santa Monica, CA, 90406'.
