I Pray the Lord My Stove to Keep (#6.22)
ComedyFan201015 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Turns out that DJ isn't going to play with a friend of his after school. And when Darlene spies on him turns out that he was going to church. Roseanne gets free stoves delivered to the restaurant and while selling the first one she has to deny the second free stove because it goes against DJ's beliefs.

Well that was a fun idea. Pretty crazy that what DJ was hiding was that he is going to church. The dinner was a hilarious scene. With Dan praying and all the issues that DJ brought up at the table such as stealing the stove, swearing and David and Darlene having sex without being married. I just hope that they manage to keep it funny without the character getting completely unbearable the way he was already getting in this episode.

Jesco White

This is the episode where Jesco White plays Dan's cousin. His scene got cut from the episode, but he is in the end credits dancing away. He is referred to in the episode as the Elvis impersonator who clog dances. The episode is about DJ attending church and asks about if anyone in there family is religious (I think Jesco was supposed to play Dan's religious cousin, but his scene got cut from the episode). Rosanne gets a stove for the Lunch Box by mistake. She decides to keep it and sell it for profit, but has difficulties facing DJ and his new religious beliefs afterwords. Darlene makes David get his nose pierced and he hates it, but keeps it because Darlene wants him too. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a small part in this episodes and the reoccurring character of DJ's friend George.
