After a pretty rubbish opening episode. I decided to give the second episode a try. After all even some of the best sitcoms had an underwhelming first episode.
Well Faith is not speaking to Bill as he went for dinner with his ex on the day Bill was supposed to move in with her.
Liza tells Bill that she will go round to Faith's house and patch things up. Only for Liza to encounter daughter Hannah who she is snooty to.
Bill and Faith do make up and they plan to have a family dinner with Hannah and Joe.
However plans for dinner fall apart. No one told Faith that Liza had been to the house for a nosy. Bill ended up being a linesman at Joe's football match and awarded a foul against him. Hannah is upset that her new hairdo is criticised.
Again there was no jokes here. Any humorous situations did not make me laugh. It left me puzzled as to how the show went on for five series.
Although made in the early 1990s, it is so old fashioned. Like the script was written in the early 1970s but made in 1991. I cannot even buy Liza ever being married to Bill they are so mismatched.
