- On a Saturday, Carter is kidnapped in the parking lot of her neighborhood gym. General Hammond and Col. O'Neill only realize 48 hours later what has happened. They get some information from a hobo who witnessed the kidnapping and O'Neill can't help but think that NID, which exists to provide civilian oversight of military operations, is somehow involved. He contacts his old nemesis, Harry Maybourne, who tells him he recently arranged for Adrian Conrad to obtain a Goa'uld symbiont in the hopes that it could heal him. What he needs to know from Carter is how to remove it once he is healed. Once the Goa'uld is implanted in Conrad, it takes control. It turns out NID has its own agenda as well.—garykmcd
- In Russia, a military truck transporting soldiers is attacked by mercenaries posing as soldiers who kill them all. In USA, Sam is kidnapped in a parking area by men wearing ninja masks and vanishes. Although not having jurisdiction in the city, SG-1 investigates her abduction. They suspect NID of the kidnapping, and Jack contacts Maybourne. He gives a code to Jack of the one responsible, and Daniel identifies Colonel Frank Simmons. When Jack visits Simmons, he denies it and accuses that Maybourne would have received three million dollars from the Zeditron Industries owned by the millionaire Adrian Conrad. Jack surprises Maybourne at the garage of Zeditron Headquarters, and he discloses that he had got a Goa'uld symbiote from Russia to Conrad. Soon, they learn that Conrad is terminal and bought the symbiote to save his life. Further, he abducted Sam to learn how to remove the symbiote without killing the host. Will the SG-1 rescue Sam before any damage?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

His assistant, Diana Mendez, helped him contact the Russians in order to buy the symbiont 'harvested' from a secretly caught and incarcerated Jaffa (Conrad's only chance to survive a terminal disease) in an officially closed hospital in Seattle. SG-1 goes in to free Carter, who meanwhile tries to escape and close the whole network.—KGF Vissers
