Excellent Conclusion
claudio_carvalho1 May 2018
Thor beams up Jack O´Neill expecting to use his Ancient knowledge to defeat the Replicators. Thor connects O´Neill´s mind to the computer and he builds an artifact. Then Thor beams up a human-form Replicator expecting to invade their network system, but the Replicator wakes up and Jack uses his device to destroy the Replicator. Now Thor is capable to build a large scale weapon capable to destroy the Replicators on Orilla. Now the SG-1 wants to rescue Sam. Meanwhile at the SGC, Camulus requests asylum since Ba´al destroyed his forces. Dr. Weir lets the others System Lords return home.

"New Order: Part 2" is an excellent conclusion of the SG-1 saga with the System Lords and the Replicators. The modifications in the SGC have one sad point, the absence of General Hammond. Why Teal´c has grown out his hair? My vote is eight.

Human Form Replicators, System Lords, and The Asgard
XweAponX1 September 2014
This second half opens another Worm-Can: With the System Lords. Seems like after Anubis' Fleet was whacked, Ba'Al took over the rest of the wax ball of Anubis' Resources and Jaffa's.

It's up to Weir to be Weir- And where Negotiation would never have worked with Anubis, it can and does work with the System Lords. Mainly what we have here is a High-Stakes Poker game in which Weir has the upper hand - But only because she knows how to bluff the face off of the System Lords, who as Goa'Ulds do not understand the concept of Bluffing.

Basically, they want the Fish/Squid Bombs which Jack used to clean Anubis' clock to be used on Ba'Al. But Weir knows, that would be a waste of needed resources, the SquidBombs are needed to protect the Earth.

Weir knows that the Lords could easily gang up on earth and blow us to chunks and bits. It is her clever maneuvering that prevents this from happening. And then she knows when to lay down the heavy hand.

Never trust a Snakehead! Especially if you don't know where you can get more SquidBombs- Or Zero Point Modules.

Awesome episode developing the storyline and characters, a lot going on in multiple fronts but they worked together well. An important shift of dynamics that brings a fresh look at the SGC.

Tea'lc Has Hair
fcabanski17 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Forgot to mention in the part 1 review, despite little time passing between the beginning of S8 and the end of S7, Tea'lc has a full head of hair as S8 opens.

Another anomaly is in Part 2. When the system lords send and receive messages, Weir asks Daniel Jackson to translate the messages. But when the Prometheus thinks a Goa'uld ship is approaching, they broadcast a message using instant translation to Goa'uld.

This episode is a jumbled mess.

There are lots more statements uttered as questions by Weir? Sam is placed in a fake reality with Pete. It seemed Fifth was finished torturing her. However, to the viewer, the scenes of life on a farm with Pete are far more torturous than the flashing images shown when Fifth had his hand in Sam's brain.

You have to watch this episode, or you'll miss important developments in both the Goa'uld story and the Replicator story.
