- General Hammond returns to take personal command of the Prometheus on another search for Atlantis, suggested by delighted Daniel, which Jack was reluctant to approve. Responding to apparently human distress calls from an abandoned Alkesh ship, a prize as such, Hammond's party gets stuck aboard the sabotaged ship, while a black-armored super-warrior takes off in the Prometheus. Only Daniel has sneaked back aboard, and must battle with the hijacker, who proves no Goa'uld but Vala Mal Doran, a female alien woman with a painful concept of attraction to Daniel, who must somewhat charm and rather outsmart her.—KGF Vissers
