- TriviaManos: The Hands of Fate (1966) was a film that was very obscure until its airing on this series. Since then, the film has gained something of a cult following and is now often counted among the worst films ever made. Thus far there has been an Entertainment Weekly article about the film, numerous screenings for cult fans, and a documentary made about the films legacy entitled 'Hotel Torgo.'
- Goofs(at around 18 min onward) Joel can be seen turning to Crow, revealing that he's wearing glasses. Light passes through his lenses, which doesn't explain why light doesn't pass through Tom's glass bubble-gum machine head.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: 'Manos' the Hands of Fate (1993)
I'm not a major fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 but I try to watch an episode or two ever so often. More times than not I find them to be entertaining and when I do research on which one to watch next it seems most lists out there consider this episode to be one of the best.
MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE is without question one of the strangest, most bizarre and flat out weirdest films that you're ever going to see. The film alone is so bad and strange that you can't help recommend it to people to watch even without the MST3K comments.
Having now seen the episode there's no question that it's one of the best that I've seen as there's one terrific joke after another. HIRED! is the short that kicks things off and there are some nice gags throughout it but the real fun happens when MANOS starts. Let's be serious for a second. The subject matter is so good that it would be impossible for the MST3K crowd to mess it up.
There are some hilarious jokes aimed at Torgo, the crippled assistant in the film. The women fighting in their pajamas? Some classic jokes. Obviously not every joke is going to land but there's no question that the majority of the ones here do land and they are quite funny.
