• Gaia : [after the Planeteers' transportation, floats down to them]  Welcome, to Hope Island!

  Wheeler : Yo, say, lady - you wanna explain what's going on here?

  Gaia : [chuckles]  Hm. So much for drama.

• Wheeler : [winking]  Hey, babe, love your accent. You Russian?

  Linka : Soviet.

  [shoves him lightly]

  [causes a column of it to arise from the river which sweeps over the hut and the Planeteers, who yell out]

  Linka : You certainly are. At least the fire is out.

  Wheeler : Oh, yeah.

• Wheeler : Hey, how come *you* get to fly this thing?

  Gi : Do *you* have a driver's license?

  Wheeler : Well, no.

  Gi : [amused]  That's why.

• Gaia : [appearing]  Don't worry, Planeteers. Though I need to stay at Hope Island, I will be with you in spirit.

  [disappears] 

  Wheeler : Fat lot of good that'll do us in a fire-fight!

  [his ring causes a blaze on the aisle floor] 

  Ma-Ti : Wheeler, don't say "fire" until you mean it!

• Kwame : And if we encounter a situation which we cannot handle?

  Gaia : Well, just put your powers together. Then you'll *really* be surprised.

  [disappears] 

  Wheeler : [stands]  Wait a minute! What's *that* supposed to mean?

  Gi : Sit down, Yankee.

  Linka : And fasten the seat-belt for your safety.

  Wheeler : [amused]  Didn't know you cared.

• Wheeler : [the Geocruiser is struck with oil]  Man, these guys are really rude and crude.

• Captain Planet : [his energy is restored]  Ah, I feel like a brand-new hero.

  Wheeler : You are!

  Captain Planet : And so are you, Planeteers. Thanks for *your* help.

• Captain Planet : I want you to join me and the Planeteers in saving our planet.

  Kwame , Wheeler , Gi , Linka , Ma-Ti : Go, Planet!

  Captain Planet : You can fight oil spills and air pollution by encouraging your family not to waste gasoline and other fuels.

  Gi : Turn off your lights in your house when you don't need them.

  Linka : If you can carpool, do it.

  Ma-Ti : Better yet, if you're only going a short distance, walk or ride a bike.

  Captain Planet : It's healthier for you and the planet. So don't be a Greedly. The power is yours!
