Bernice has a problem
kevinolzak13 April 2014
"Bernice's Problem" finds her increasingly depressed, overcompensating for her mistakes. Budding psychologist Charlie suggests she see a psychiatrist, which does improve her outlook a bit. After she fires a shot of whipped cream in the face of spray can-happy Loomis, her husband smilingly approves, both laughing in each other's arms. Meanwhile, Victor is assigned an English tutor from his class, pretty Sheila Gill (Stacy Swor), which makes Jilly feel the pangs of jealousy ("if that fox wears them tight pants, he ain't never gonna learn no English!"). Slapping on the aftershave, pudgy Victor tries to turn on the charm with Sheila, who'd much rather go for older Mike. TV addict Diane suggests Jilly watch "King Kong" with her, especially the scene where 'the ape gets turned on by this good looking chick!' Eyeing Victor and Sheila together, Jilly casually responds, "I know, I'm watchin'!"
