- Wheeler: You need a little old-fashioned Yankee ingenuity. Let's be scientific here. Eenie, meanie, minie, mo.
- Captain Planet: [catches Lenai] Welcome aboard Air Planet, this is your Captain speaking; fasten your seatbelt.
- Lenii: Wh-whatever you say... Captain.
- Linka: [he catches her on his way up] Thanks, Captain Planet.
- Wheeler: Way to go, Cap!
- Captain Planet: [grabs him from the ledge] Hey, Wheeler.
- Wheeler: Hey. Thanks for the lift.
- Captain Planet: No problem; I love to carpool.
- Captain Planet: [moving ahead of the lava toward a building] A hospital. This place could use some intensive care.
- [lifts the building from its foundation]
- Captain Planet: You're in good hands with Dr. Planet.
- [sets it down away from the lava]
- Captain Planet: Another successful transplant.
- [last lines]
- Linka: Wheeler, what are you doing?
- Wheeler: You said to sort the trash for recycling, so I'm sorting. This pile is all stuff that my favorite drinks come in. And this pile is...
- Ma-Ti: [bemused] Wheeler, you've got it all wrong. You sort it by what it is made of.
- Lenai: Paper glass, and aluminum can all be turned back into something useful.
- Linka: But before we can recycle, we have to sort properly.
- Wheeler: [Suchi climbs atop one of his badly-sorted piles amidst the well-sorted ones] Hey, give me a break, Linka. I'm new at this.
- Linka: I forgot - some catch on faster than others.
- Wheeler: [sees him] Nobody likes a show-off, Suchi!
- [everyone else grins]
- Sly Sludge: [leaving the island during the volcanic eruption] Aloha, suckers. I'll miss this profit paradise when it blows up, but I do have a few souvenirs to remember it by.
- [looks at his money and locks the case]
- Sly Sludge: You can keep the hot trash, I'll take the cold cash. Lava them and leave them, I always say. Especially if you've been paid in advance.
- Captain Planet: Many of the things we throw away can be used again. That's called recycling.
- Linka: The bottles in our trash can be turned into windows.
- Kwame: And old papers into new books.
- Gaia: The more trash we recycle, the fewer of Earth's precious resources we use up, and the more beautiful it stays.
- Captain Planet: Together, we can make a difference. Recycle. The power is yours!
