It’s that time of the year when a well-timed festival anthem can propel an artist to international stardom. Christina Novelli became a household name among trance enthusiasts for her spirited vocal contributions to Gareth Emery’s 2012 hit “Concrete Angel,” and her newest effort, “Where We Began” could indeed put her back on the map.
Much like Emery’s own releases, “Where We Began” isn’t the sort of trance that purists of the genre would clamor over. Nonetheless, Novelli’s sensual verses give it an anthemic quality that will keep you humming the track throughout the day.
As with most of the artist’s other songs, “Where We Began” will release through Emery’s own record label, Garuda, and can be previewed in the player above. Give it a listen and let us know what you think by dropping a comment down below.

They are all Steven Moffat’s mysterious women, characters air-dropped into Doctor Who hanging off the end of a question mark, and whose elliptical appearances in the show were designed to stir up fan speculation.
By the time Missy, Michelle Gomez’s very Michelle Gomez-y “gatekeeper of the nethersphere”, popped up at the end of the series eight opener, Who...
