Yugoslavia's train adventures
One of the many productions by Zagreb Film depicts the experiences of a man in a train. There's no dialogue except for unidentifiable sounds, and the destination never gets identified. "Putnik drugog razreda" (Croat for "second class traveler") is all about the action inside - and sometimes outside - the train compartment. And there's some unusual stuff going on.
Borivoj Dovniković directed a number of cartoons for Zagreb Film, but this is the first one of his that I've seen. According to Wikipedia, his most recent credit was 2009's "Tiina" (Croat for "calm" or "silence"). He's apparently an obscure director; Wikipedia only has pages about him in Croat, Russian and Serbo-Croat. No matter, this cartoon is still worth seeing. Who ever would've guessed that an obscure Yugoslavian cartoon would incorporate shots of Jackie Kennedy?
