Barbarah is released from prison. During her time in there, her main motivation was reuniting with Preta, Lena, and Mayah. She and frequently dreamed about performing with them, but when she finally steps outside, there's no one there.
Preta reveals to the girls that she had to take a loan from a bank. They promise to help her, but it's a time for enjoyment: they are going for a "night out" at Tangerina, a bar where Mayah works as a singer, and Diamante as a manager.
The girls go to a studio to rehearse for their next performance, but various technical issues interrupt their attempts. They end up playing a song with a pagode group that blends samba with hip hop.
Diamante secures a TV appearance for Antônia. The four of them prepare in the dressing room to go live, while Emilia watches the show from Hermano's house. When two police officers show up, he tries to run away.
Preta embarks on a true pilgrimage through São Paulo's public hospitals to get her mother medical attention and leaves Emília in her friends care. Meanwhile, Barbarah persuades the Festival's organizers to schedule Antônia on a better time
