Loved the 90s theme throughout. The Halloween vibes. I liked every part of this episode but it ended where I really wanted more. Last week's episode was longer and had more meat to it. The fact this weeks got shorter again kinda feels like I ain't got enough to last me till next week lol. But the ending tho. Still loved it and I doubt these complaints will mean anything when the whole shows out and I binge it through all the time.

Poor vision
evansjoshyr12 February 2021
Not a lot of explanation is given to why xmen pietro is here, but the characters all recognise the recast and his interactions are a joy to watch.
A lot of emphasis this episode is put on vision and he continues his storyline from last episode where he searches for answers as to what exactly is going on. He knows that wanda is at fault and you can feel the shift in their relationship. Its all very tense and entertaining.
And that ending. What a note to leave it on.
A brilliant intense, action packed episode.
The halloween episode delivered in every way I wanted.

The references, the cgi, the pace of the storyline this episode had everything I wanted. I cant wait for what is going to have next week. Wandavision owns friday now. Also, I really cannot wait to see if Monica gets superpowers. CAN IT BE NEXT FRIDAY ALREADY??

I really have to applaud Marvel for introducing phase 4 with such a weird and wonderful show.
The story is so entertaining and thrilling The acting is amazing
However, this episode did feel a bit more childish and steps away from the tense, ominous mood created in the last couple of episodes, and i would've much preferred it to be just as enticing and suspenseful as the story progresses.

This episode ends on one hell of a cliff hanger and I am on edge until next friday. This episode is my fave and the mix of sit com and sword was amazing for yet another episode. The sit com part is good in this episode and is the best we've seen it yet and the new direction with sword is great.
AMAZING

Marvel has outdone themselves again. This episode was filled with funny one-liners and very entertaining action sequences. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany acting was on point. Evan Peters acting was on point too but there's something wrong about his character, I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. Billy and Tommy gaining their powers was a very cool moment to witness because I am a reader of the comics, so I thought that was cool. Overall, I'd give it a 10. I hate how we have to wait every damn week for a new episode. GIVE ME THE NEXT EPISODE DAMMIT.
Why is Marvel doing this to us?

Wanda is growing scarier with each episode
imptsir12 February 2021
My eyes were wide open at the very end. I couldn't process what i saw, at one point it seems like it's not Wanda but the very next minute something this big happens that we are left to believe that it in fact is Wanda and she has gone insane. She is giving zero damns to the outside world. Damn she is scaring me and i love it.
Way to go MCU!
Quicksilver is kinda sus...

Pretty brilliant episode. Things are really hitting the fan. Dying to know who Rameau's contact is. Tommy and Billy discover their abilities and Quicksilver is looking kinda suspicious; anyone else think his hair looked like horns? I'll leave you guys to put the pieces together on that one ;)
Best episode so far

This series has been building with each episode and just gets better and better. The Malcolm in the Middle homage now we're in the '90s within the 'hex' is brilliant and Evan Peters is excellent as ever, a great addition to the cast. Both the family dynamic and the outside events are well handled and the ending is so good! The last three episodes should be amazing at this rate!
Nope!!!

The show was doing so good in the past 2-3 episodes but the plot just went too slow in this episode.i kinda feel like they used most of their big cards and now they are just stalling for the next ones.this episode had only 10 minutes plot
Really really boring

Still waiting for this series to get to the point. Really surprised they are keeping so much of the content focussed on the sitcom. Hoping there will be some reveal at the end which makes all this tedium worth the effort.
This show continues to get better and better...

Wow. This show is starting to really become something else. The ending was such a shock and it truly demonstrates how powerful Wanda is and could be. Hoping Monica's contact could be a potential Fantastic Four member? I hope Darcy is okay! Wanda and Pietro's exchanges were fun especially that KickAss reference (if you know, you know), that jumpscare asked a lot of questions, I hope the Evan Peters version of Quicksilver is here permanently and not just a sign of the big bad because he's fantastic. The 90's sitcom vibes were in full swing with Malcolm in the Middle esque fourth wall breaks. Agnes dressed as a witch? Surely that's not a coincidence.
This show is doing exactly what it is supposed to. Leave us wanting more!

All-New Halloween Spooktacular!
lassegalsgaard15 February 2021
There is something very creepy about this show, and it is the idea of someone controlling your every movement and keep your mind hostage. This episode really delved into and gave us a new perspective of what is happening around the town in the parts that we don't see. I loved the feel of the episode, and the Halloween theme seemed very appropriate for this. There are still a lot of question, but I think we are moving closer to the big finale, and with the ending of this episode taking the story to a bigger scale, I'm exciting to see what happens next. I also loved the introduction of their children's superpowers, and I'm actually mostly excited to see how they will fit into the future of the MCU. It's definitely going to be a couple of heart-bumping episodes coming up and I'm here for it.
A Death themed episode
djorleon-1252514 February 2021
The Halloween episode arrived and it didn't disappoint me. Death was referenced throughout by various characters and even in the spooky obligatory commercial break. I know Wanda is responsible, but what does Quicksilver's recast mean? I hope Evan Peters stays during this phase, he is one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to the next episode and I agree with the other reviewers that said this one felt too short.
Monica Rambeau is the weak link here
coonissimo15 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This TV show is great, but I so hate this childish rebellious Monica Rambeau's behavior. Why would you act like a teenager and not like an acting officer? Why would you beat the soul off some innocent soldiers? Why would you not try to understand your boss who definitely had to deal with all the bad stuff for last 5 years and know the situation better? AAarrggh just tired of this unrealistic storylines. I like the Vision's part, he's so great here. Wanda and Agnes deliver too. Other parts are just a downgrade compared to them.
Strong episode that increases intrigue outside Westview
snoozejonc12 February 2021
Vision explores the border of Westview whilst things get interesting for the SWORD agents camped outside the 'hex'.
I enjoyed this one as it answers pretty much all questions about what Wanda is doing and 99% of why she is doing it. Considering the overall narrative is moving quite slowly, it does entertain on the way.
We are presented with more of the 'weird' moments coming from the little glitches in Wanda's control over Westview and some discoveries by Vision about his identity. The most interesting reveals for me come in the SWORD scenes, which imply some pretty sinister intentions towards Vision is likely to be what's driving Wanda's behaviour. The presence of Quicksilver is intriguing and there needs to be a worthwhile pay-off for him being there at some point in the future.
This episode is visually one of the strongest so far, with great warm colours inside Westview with everyone in 90s Halloween special mode, contrasting with the dark coldness outside the perimeter. The effects presented towards the end are pretty spectacular, but this is something I come to expect from Marvel.
All performances are good, particularly Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen. Olsen not only has a striking physical presence that dominates the screen, but she effortlessly switches from light-comedy to drama in the blink of an eye. Definitely a star for modern Hollywood.
