The film combines live action with stop-motion and CGI.
For the 'growing hair' sequence a 10 by 10 square foot model was used.
Actor Ari Brand had to use his imagination a lot. When interacting with his digitally created antagonist 'The Brain Chunk' he was really only holding a minuscule ball of clay and occasionally nothing at all.

Peter Letz spent a full day locked in his room creating sound effects with raw chicken, hair gel, Vaseline, fresh produce, hammers, dirt, silly puddy, soap and a plunger.
