The name "Marconi" is synonymous with . . .
. . . maritime disasters. G. Marconi was closely associated with BOTH the Titanic and the Lusitania, the two most famous doomed vessels in the History of the Seas. Peabody's Improbable History: MARCONI, over-simplifies the Italian tinker's fateful relationship to water by simply picturing him being responsible for intentionally flooding Venice twice. However, in Real Life Marconi was so excited over the rise of the Axis of Evil that he suffered nine heart attacks during the Nuremberg Rallies, expiring with the last one like an alley cat which has used up all of its lives. He willed his fighting yacht to the German Navy, where it was used to slaughter scores of innocent Allied sailors, as well as refugee women and children. Marconi openly bragged about being a minion of Satan as he plotted to exterminate the many groups of people he hated from the face of the Earth. It is illegal Today to mention the odious Marconi name in many NATO nations.
