In the letter on the DDA's desk letting a character know a case is being dismissed, it says she is being informed because of Marzy's Law. The law is actually Marsy's Law, AKA the California Victims' Bill of Rights Law of 2008.
Both Ms. Bayani and Mark Callan claim that Shane Spradlin uses the phrase "Send her back!" before almost hitting her with his truck. What he actually said on the video was "Go back where you came from!"
When Sara Castillo sits down at the table with DDA Callan in the coffee shop, he says "No Lola Contendere," instead of the correct Nolo Contendere, a Latin phrase which means No Contest.
