I really like this one because it feels more personal and significant for Alexa. The headmistress at Alexa's old private high school has died and it appears it was murder. Alexa was apparently a handful when she was a teenager and was on a path to jail. But Mrs. Beecroft, the headmistress, believed in Alexa and helped her. And this kickstarted Alexa into realizing she needed to change.
Loved the scenes between Alexa and Miranda. They had great camaraderie and were very funny. Their banter was hilarious.
Loved the school setting. Pretty good directing with all the kids there and everything that was going on in the background.
The scenes with the mean girl, Juliana, kind of made me chuckle. Especially when Alexa side-eyes her with wtf looks.
Gemma was very likable, and yet what she did was so devious. Especially since it was premeditated. And yet I felt sorry for her. So pretty good on all the right emotions that elicitcied empathy from both Miranda and Alexa and maybe some of the audience.
Loved the old video with showed a young Alexa and Miranda.
An all-around fun and compelling episode that gives us a bit of a look at Alexa's teenage years and what spurred her toward the path of becoming a police officer. 10/10.
