Mr. Peanutbutter has many photos of character's butts on his wall. Reason is because dogs recognize each other by sniffing butts, so a dog would have pictures of butts that belong to people he cares about.
Todd sent Mr. Peanutbutter to see, "Angels in America," a very heavy and very long two-part play described as a "complex, often metaphorical, and at times symbolic examination of AIDS and homosexuality in America in the 1980s." Not a play based on the feel-good 90's Disney film about a baseball team helped by angels, Angels in the Outfield (1994).
This episode was released on October 25th 2019, 4 days before John Witherspoon who played Franco Aplenty passed away.
Bojack prods Diane for her motivation for her plan to up and leave for Chicago, cheekily asking "What's the draw? ...do you just like improv actors who aren't good enough for LA?" This is a biting example of art imitating life, as Bojack is played by Will Arnett, formerly married to Amy Poehler. Poehler is a former cast member of famed Second City improv, based in Chicago.
