How do people not like this episode?

I think it just highlights Todd's development as a character. He's comfortable with who he is. And like... who hasn't felt like their parents just don't understand you no matter what you do simply because you aren't doing what they want. I think it's all a common problem.

Responsible Bojack
wolfan-102394 September 2022
I loved seeing Bojack responsible for his actions, even trying fixing them!

Wise Bojack amazes me. I loved his character development.

I'm too sad that we're getting near the end of this beautiful series. I even don't wanna end it so soon.

10/10 Judah is back! Also another father-son relationship that is shaky, a bonus for background stories of the characters.

Underrated episode!
cemalim94 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It is one of the most underrated episodes in the series I think. This is the first time we get to know the family background of Todd, which is quite interesting. The show's philosophy deepens with BoJack's self-realization and self-explanation. There are serious arguments about both the kernel of online streaming mechanics and how things work in there. Though you need to carefully follow between-the-line arguments and remarks, I think it is worth investing and also the best part of the series, and this one is particularly sticks out and shows us what BoJack Horseman truly is.

Most Underrated Episode Ever
alpber19 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is in the caliber of Time's Arrow, Free Churro but rating is interestingly low.

Out of its context, assistants on strike had one request: don't treat us like garbage. And they were refused. What a great point for business life. Also promotion of people actually depend on the use of the company management, never to competencies of people. What a good reflection of career management lies!

What makes it great lies under two facts:

1) It includes a two-minute speech of Bojack that summarizes himself and be enlightened about himself. Check the part where Therapy Horse drank in tha bar, middle of the episode.

2) We learn a lot about Todd's past more than maybe all episodes combined so far. Also Todd gave a speech to his father about what actually is a successful life for an individual.

Also pointing out that being a latino and regular white guy differs a lot needs some discussion.

Oh dear

I am not enjoying this season at all, and I am not looking forward to watch Bojack Horseman anymore because I find myself huffing and puffing throughout all the episodes.

Too many boring and silly side stories that have no connection with the main story, I hate Todd by this point, so boring and dumb I could scream!!

What happened to this show?
