Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A woman's mangled, naked corpse is seen briefly in the snow. Though it's hard to make out, her breasts are briefly visible in the lowlight.
  • It's mentioned that a woman had her genitalia removed several times throughout the film.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman's mangled, bloody corpse is seen in the snow. It's fairly brief and hard to see in the lowlight, but there is graphic conversation about the state of her body that could be upsetting to some viewers.
  • A woman is mauled by a werewolf and has her arm ripped off. You can see the stump pumping blood for a moment before the camera cuts to a wideshot of the woman desperately crawling away while slipping in her blood.
  • A woman finds a dead deer on the road in front of her. When she gets out to investigate, the werewolf appears behind her and violently mangles her body. Though no blood is shown, it is implied by a conversation after the fact that she was torn up beyond anything the county mortician had ever seen.
  • A woman is stalked and killed by the werewolf. At her funeral it is revealed that her three year old daughter was also killed. This is portrayed in a darkly comical fashion, but it can still be upsetting for some viewers.
  • A man is lifted up by another man against a wall, where he's stabbed with a knife. The incident is fairly graphic as the man gasps and blood pours from the wound and his mouth. He's dropped to the floor where he gasps again and crawls across the floor.
  • A man is shot in the back, thrown to the ground and then shot in the face at close range several times. This is the most graphic part of the movie as you see blood splatter onto the snow behind him, but it's done in a fairly lighthearted way.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A woman is briefly stalked by an unseen assailant before it cuts to her boyfriend finding her brutally mutilated body out in the snow.
  • A woman leaves her job at a ski resort and is walking across a dark, icy parking lot when the wolf begins to stalk her. She briefly begins looking around, sees what it is and runs for her car. She's unable to get there in time and the wolf rips off her arm. The scene is fairly intense and violent.
  • A couple are shown to be viciously stalked by the werewolf in their car. It repeatedly charges them before shoving them both out of the car. Just as they're about to be killed, a police officer shows up and shoots at the werewolf, scaring it off.
